Product Description

Andersen Narroline double-hung window sash counter balance. Sold individually. Can be used to replace balance boxes with stamped numbers L8 1227. This balancer is used on the left hand side of the window as viewed from the exterior of the window. See SWISCO product code 24-R12-827 for the right handed balance for this window.

Good Idea!

For best results, replace window balances in pairs (though sold individually). An old balance will overwork a new one, causing faster wear and uneven operation. Paired replacement ensures optimal, lasting performance.

Anderson Window balances

I have two large Andersen windows. The upper sash is (H) 3 95/8 x 32 3/4. The lower sash is (H)27 x 32 3/4. They are at leasr 26 years old, probably more. I need to replace the balances. Hard to read the number clearly, but looking at the photo of the sash balance (included above), it looks like R127827...??? The windows were installed when the house was built in 1989.
