18-073 Top sash guide, Fiberlux

A quick learner says:
I bought a home with slider windows that use this part at the top and bottom edges.
1. Do the wheels go on the top & bottom guides or just the bottom?
Also, I have cuts all over my hands from trying to remove/replace screens.
2. Can you provide any tips for removing & replacing the screens?
Thanks, Kathryn

Thanks for posting, Kathryn. If you are using the 18-073 as a roller, you would only put the wheel on the bottom of the sliding window.

As for replacement, you would lift and swing it out to remove. To install, you would put in the top of the screen, where the springs are, into the top track, then swing the screen in and drop it down into the bottom track. Since you are having problems with your screens, you might want to consider our new Flex Screen. We find this to be much easier to install and it's far less of a headache to replace and repair. See this page for more information.
