Hello! This is an "extended travel" type balance, named for its unique block and tackle configuration. We can supply these but only as a custom order.

Before we go any further, can you show me a photo of the metal clip at the end of the cord? Yours appears to be missing but it is an essential detail. Can you also tell me how many you needed, altogether?

Here is the piece I believe you requested. I can get more pictures from various angles with measuring tools also.

I need 2 for sure. I pieced the 2 'good' ones together to get one working window, but may just want to replace those also to not think about this for another 15 years.

I live in a 30 unit condo and did reach out to a few neighbors just now to see if there was a general need for these as we all share the same model and age of window so once you have configuration identified my initial number may change - it could be as many 50 though I doubt it would be.

Perfect, thank you! This is exactly what we needed to see.

Please give me a little time to confirm the availability of this size. I'll then email you a purchase link and price quote that will let you add 2 of these to your cart. That will let you checkout as normal, as if it were any other product.

Since you plan on possibly ordering more in the future, you should note that we do offer bulk quantity discounts. Just something to keep in mind in the future.

Okay, we're good to go on our end. I'll email you that purchase link now.

Please let me know if you had any other questions and I would be happy to assist!

Do you also need the sash weight or does the DS40 part provide you that?
Can you share what DS is intended to mean?

Yes, your stamp indicates the precise calibration of the spring. The sash weight is only necessary when the stamp is missing, too faded to read, or otherwise suspected of being incorrect.

Funnily enough, the DS literally stands for "double spring." What's happening here is that there's a smaller spring inside the spring you see here, which increases its available tension. These are used in particularly heavy windows.
