Hi, I have a set of roughly 10 year old Certainteed slider windows and one set has vent latches that have failed. I am trying to replace the latches but these windows take latches that are 3" long and I am having a hard time finding them. The ones that I found on your site are 2 1/2" long and I am pretty sure that the clips will not work at all in the existing holes because of the shortness. Do you have a latch kit that will work for my windows, or know of somewhere that I could find some.

We have come across a 3" latch like yours in the past but, unfortunately, we have not been able to find a suitable replacement through any of our suppliers. I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
