Question

Went to replace a balance that was on a project that we provided windows through Jeld-Wen. Technician pulled out this old balance and it was different than what the service department provided us for a new one, which will not fit. Where can I find this exact replacement?

Thanks for writing in! The shoe you have is typically installed on a balance that has a groove at the bottom of the channel.

Were the balances you purchased to repair the window purchased from us? If so, then your existing shoe will not be compatible with the newer channel.

May I please see a photo of both the original balances as well as the replacements?
