82-051 post was too short

We bought a 82-053 unit but the post was to short. Do you sell a unit that has a longer post?

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Do you have your old lock handy? If so, can you tell me exactly how long the post needs to be? Thank you!

I do not have for we tossed in Garbage. I can try to measure? Looks like we would need it a least 1/2" Longer post.

I'm afraid there isn't a version of this lock with a longer bolt. Try building up the keeper and see if that works. Or, if our 82-053 keeper reaches further than your current one, maybe that can work.
