ADOR glass poatio door rollers from circa late 50's to early 60's

Quick Learner from So. Calif.

Hi,

I'm trying to find a set of replacement rollers referenced in the subject line. The house was built in 1957, and the doors may be original to that year. They are just a friction fit in each end of the frame with a height adjustment screw positiooned vertically from the bottom.

I've attached a few pictures of one of the roller assemblies.

The dimensions are as follows:

Roller diam. = 1-1/4"

Roller Width = 5/16"

Frame Lsngth = 2-3/32"

Frame Height (Rt) = 1-5/16"

Frame Height (Lt) = 1-1/2"

Frame Width = 1/2"

Frame Flare Wiidth (each end) = 19/32"

Thanks for your help.

Hi there Gary.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We don't sell this roller and I'm sorry to say that I couldn't locate it through any of our suppliers. However, ADOR did use a roller similar to the 81-243 with the adjustment screw out the back of the housing. Do you think you could adapt this roller to your door? Have a look at the specifications and see what you think.

If not, I recommend you see if you can replace just the wheel with our 81-266 kit. This might be a good solution if the roller housing is in working order.
