Air-Lite patio door rollers

Quick Learner from Oakland California
Hi, it's just a few days later than your latest Bay Area posts above. I know I have a Lanaidor Air-Lite sliding glass door, 4'X 8'. My grandson has just pushed the door yesterday and now it won't slide at all. Either it is off it's track or the old wheels just gave up. It's old, 1971. If I'm going to work with this door, I'd rather install new wheels. I know you want a photo, but if I take the door off and remove the wheels, then I have this huge opening on the third floor apartment until it is replaced. Can you help or advise as well and if possible, in advance. Anything at all. My son and I took the door off and looked at the wheels, so I have an idea, but we did this so late at night, I didn't look better. Should have! Will work on it....but until then...can you help at all? Thanks so much Nicole

Thanks for reaching out to us. I hate to say it, but our database has no record of what rollers this door used. I'm afraid that seeing the rollers out is the only way that we can help you. There are simply too many possibilities to even guess.

I know it's a huge project to have to pull down a door and then put it up again, but that's how they're designed to work pretty much across the board. You need to brace yourself for this being a Project with a capital P. It's not an easy fix.

Once you have the roller out, we need to see it from the back end, top, and sides. Detailed written dimensions would also be helpful. From there, I can check my inventory to see whether or not we sell a compatible replacement.
