Alside balance breaks

Question

I have Alside double hung tilt in windows. The coil balance keeps breaking. Can the coil balance be replaced with the block and tackle type balance?

I don't think you can convert a coil balance to a block and tackle balance, but you may be able to use a spiral balance. If possible, please show me a picture of your window and the track where the old balances installed. Please also give me the height of the sash this balance will be supporting, the height of this sash's visible glass, and this sash's weight.
