Anderson window shoe

Quick Learner from New York
Hello. Just ordered this replacement part but not quite sure how to install? The part seems to be correct but the screws that came with it are very different than the original. I've put the new shoe onto the crank arm but it's definitely not correct. Adding a second picture

Sorry, to be clear I ordered part number 36-083. Original shoe and replacement shoe seem to be the same but screw is not the same. Original shoe had only a single screw. Screws for replacement shoe 36-083 are very different. Arm operator part number for my window is #1521101

Hi there! Thanks for contacting us. If your old shoe is the same as the 36-083, the installation screws should be compatible. These screws fasten into one another. If you're still having issues, you may want to try the original screws.

Hello. Unfortunately the opening/hole on the operator arm does not allow the female screw to fit through it. I tired using the old screw for the new shoe but the shoe disengages still from the window.

I'm wondering if your operator's arm has a different thread count than the new screw that comes with the 36-083. I recommend you try taking your operator, along with the new and old parts, to a hardware store in your area and see if they can check the thread count with the new screw and the threaded hole in the operator.
