Atrium Window hardware

A quick learner from 85387 says:
The guide shown in the above picture is just hanging loose. When you go to open the window, it opens very hard and pulls to the side where this guide is located. Looks like the guide is broken or has come loose. Do you have this part available, and do you have instructions on how to replace it?
Thanks for your help

Hello there!

It sounds like you need a new channel balance. We can help but we'll need you to remove an undamaged balance with the end fittings intact to compare to our inventory. I'll also post some videos below that you may find helpful.

Thanks for your reply. I have attached 5 pictures below. Thats all I can send at one time, so I will send you a second note with two more files. There are no take out clips on the windows, There are two slots for the take out clips, but no clips. I checked the other windows in the house, they also do not have the take out clips, so I will need to buy two take out clips. The overall length of the metal channel is 29 inches. On the pictures you can maybe see that the bottom nylon roller is damaged, so that is what the problem is probable from. Guess I will need a new channel and the two take out clips. Will send the other two pictures right away. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks.

Thank you, Jim! This is perfect. Your balance is a match for our S395-29 with the 2840 spring strength option. Keep in mind, we always suggest replacing your balances in pairs. Pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the newer one to wear out faster since it has to pick up the slack for its older and weaker counterpart.

As for the take out clips, see our 16-002
