It may, to check remove the window sash and place it on a scale.
The S380-27 with stamp option 2640 will carry a window sash weight range of 19 through 26 pounds. This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate. |

Yes, they will match. When ordering the balances online, select the S380-27 with the 2640 option. The balances are shipped complete and ready to install.

You only need to replace the top sash guides or take out clips if they are broken, brittle, or missing; it would be a good idea to keep a pair of top sash guides on hand in case one does break upon installation of the new balances.

You will need to replace the entire balance, not just the cord.
If you can't identify the appropriate replacement, submit a few photos of your balance attachments and any markings you may find on the balance. Also include the length of the channel portion of your balance. |

27 4 indicates the length of 28" and the weight stamp option of 2740. We can help you determine the series of balance you need if you send us some photos of both ends of your balance.
