Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. We may be able to help you with this balance, but what you're showing me isn't an attachment. This is part of the pulley system, which all balances have and which appears to have come totally undone. I cannot identify your balance based on its current condition.

Do you have an undamaged version that we can see? If so, I need a clear picture of the top end, bottom end, stamp, and any attachments or clips, whether they are at the end of the cord or elsewhere. From there, I will check my inventory for anything that matches your configuration.

It is imperative that the balance you show us is whole and undamaged. If any components are broken off or missing, the we won't be able to ID a match.

The writing on the broken balancer does not mean anything?

The stamp is only indicative of the calibration of the spring. There are actually dozens of different balances all with that same exact stamp. It's a necessary detail to have, of course, but it in no way narrows down the list of available configurations, which at this point is very large.

The only way to identify a balance of any configuration is to go by the physical details. That's why clear photos of an undamaged assembly are so important.

Attached, please find the picture of the complete balancer installed.

Thank you for this photo. I can confirm that this is not a balance we are able to supply. I have seen it before but all attempts to get a hold of it have been in failure. Due to its unique design, I also don't believe any of our stock products will work as an alternative.

My recommendation is to contact the original maker of the window directly. I believe them to be Marvin.
