Bottom Closet Track

A home owner from Union City, CA says:
Please confirm whether item #23-260 will work as a replacement for the attached bottom closet track. The track itself is 105 inches long; however, the distance between the track rails -- 1-11/16 -- and the width of the track itself are a match. We are concerned that the track of 23-260 is raised between the rails and ours is not. It is a three-door closet and was manufactured or distributed by Crest Door Company. It is at least 25 years old.

Thank you,

Hello, Joseph. If the rail spacing is the same then the 23-260 may be your best bet. I wouldn't worry about how the centered portion of the track is raised. What's most important is that your wheels are concave. However, we also have the 23-259, which appears to match your style more closely. You could consider this.

We don't have any tracks that are 105" long, but you can use two shorter tracks butted together. You would just need to cut off the excess with a hacksaw.
