Broken Window Balancer

A home owner from Oxnard, CA says:

We have Milgaard windows that are 31 years old. The window balancer broke. I have two different balancers in the window (I didn't know they weren't interchangeable). The window weighs 16 pounds. What balancer do I need?

Do you know what balance was the original? If not, check an identical window in the house; that should be able to confirm it. We'll then need clear pictures of the nylon fittings on both ends, as well as the stamp on the metal channel. See the video below for further details.
