It looks like you might have an S400-30 , which is a 3/8" Spiral Balance used with non-tilt windows. Please compare. To know what Color Tip option to pick, obtain the exact weight of the window sash. You can then match that option with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each Color Tip option under the product description. The Series 400 typically uses a bracket like our 17-031 or, with wood windows, the 17-030 . The bracket cradles the balance beneath the sash.
