CHES-6 sliding patio door: lock strip?

Quick Learner from Indianapolis
Door ?tilted so that it will not close. Wonder if the lock strip under middle of door is bent; sometimes it seems to drag there.

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but it would help if you could show us some photos of the door and the part that you suspect may be the problem. Also, do you happen to know the door manufacturer? Thank you!

Thank you! That lock strip seems to just be the keeper for the foot lock. As long as your foot lock isn't engaged, which it'd have to be for the door to slide at all, you wouldn't even notice it's there. I don't think that's the culprit.

In all likelihood this is an issue with either the track or the rollers. You should examine both to check for any damages; dents, dings, and warping for the track; chips, rust, or clogs for the rollers. Those should be the first things you check.
