What are the "1" or "0" - Settings on the 32-343?

On the Face Frame Cabinet Compact Hinge #32-343, there appears to be the ability to select a setting, i.e., within the hinge, there's a little "switch" where you can choose an "I" or an "O" setting. Can you provide information as to the purpose/function of this feature?

Hello! The settings on the 32-343 hinge have to do with the soft close feature. The "I" setting activates it while the "0" setting deactivates it. You mostly want to use the latter on small or lightweight doors. This is also relevant to the 32-345, which has the same feature.
