Can 40-049 be used on Andersen storm door?

Can the Complete Mortise Lockset 40-049 be installed on a 1 and 1/2 inch thick Andersen storm door to replace the original PADO lockset on the door?

I'm not sure, it would depend on what you have now. Could you show me a few pictures of your current handle set? That will allow me to determine what you have and whether or not the 40-049 can work.

Here are some pictures of the current PADO lockset on our "Forever Door" store door which is 1 1/2 inches thick.

Thanks for the images, I hope I can help. I believe the 40-049 could work on a 1-1/2" door. The key cylinder seems to be long enough and you can adjust the handle spindle for the 1-1/2" door thickness. Take a look and see what you think.
