Can I color the 70-213 retainer clip?

A quick learner from CALIFORNIA says:

I ordered some slip-on clips, part # 70-213 They only come in metallic color and I need a bronze finish. Any suggestions on how or what to use to color the clips? Is there a special paint to bond to these clips.

Larry, we recommend taking the 70-213 Retainer Clips to a paint or hardware store to see if they can recommend an appropriate primer. We currently do both ave any specific paint recommendations for you at this time.
