Casement cover

Quick Learner from Seattle
Good Afternoon,

I am wondering if you think it is possible to cover these casements with one of the Truth Hardware covers? The windows are Milgard approximately 30 years old. To remove the casements, we would have to take out the sill and I am reluctant to take this step. Also looking to change out to folding handles, don't suppose the casement cover that accommodates these would work? Appreciate any advice.

Hello,

Based on what is shown in your photos, I don't think that your operator covers are designed to be removed but we would need you to open both windows and show us the operator arms that move the sash to confirm. That would also help us determine which handles would be compatible. Thank you.

Thank you! I'm attaching photos of the operator arms on each kind of window. I'm also send the window locks which I think are universal? We would love to replace everything and possibly get folding handles. Bright brass would be our first choice if available.

Thanks for getting back to us. We do offer the 39-083 awning operator, as well as the 39-013 and 39-014 casement operators, but you'll need to review the dimensions below to confirm that they match up to yours. Unfortunately, these parts do not have removable covers but they are compatible with 39-205 folding handle.

As for your casement lock, take a look and compare the specifications of the 38-075 to your part. Thanks for posting!
