Channel Balance Replacement

A quick learner from Florida says:
I am trying to identify the part I need to replace.

I have about 22 windows in my house to replace these parts of course all are different sizes.

The windows barely go up or down easily and in some cases only one spring is working or none.

I found a number on the Channel Balance - 2930.

How do I know what part to order?

Thank you for your assitance.

Thanks for posting. The only way to know what balances you need is to go through each window of a different size and to show us pictures of the parts removed from the windows. If they are channel balances, we will need only pictures of the stamp codes, but of the attachments at either end of the balance as well as the length of the metal channel, not including those end attachments. From there, we ought to be able to identify the channel balances you need.

I'm afraid this still isn't quite enough to go by. I will say that for this particular window, this is a special kind of balance we can provide--I can tell this from what I can see of the bottom attachment. I will need to see the balance removed from the window, with both end attachments in full view, as well as a picture of the clip at the end of the cord. For each set of different balances you need to replace, we will need the same pictures, as well as the length of the metal channel and a picture of the stamp code on the metal channel. Without that information, we can't reliably suggest the right replacement parts.

Here's a video that may help. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Could you please advice on how to remove the channel?
