Channel Balance Spring

Question

This is for a non-tilt window. The metal portion measures 27" X 9/16". It has the following stamped onto the metal, "26 4 KO CALDWELL".

I would guess a Series 351, but don't know how to judge the weight, based on the numbers stamped on the metal.

I agree, the Series 351 looks like a good match. A stamp of 26 4 usually corresponds to our 2640 option, but you could always weigh your sash on a scale to confirm. We have a chart on the S351-27 store page that shows each option and how much weight they can support.
