Channel Balances

Question

My Plygem windows are about 12 years old. All the counter balances were removed by a renter.  I need to replace some without the aid of what was there originally.  The one in the photos came out of a slider that is approx. 25" tall and it measures 21 1/2" tall.  I am assuming on the others I can measure the slider and subtract 3 1/2" to get the proper replacement length?  First, do you carry this particular replacement part?  Then guide me as to replacing with appropriate length without having the original available...Thanks

Thanks for writing in. We can replace this balance for you, but it will have to be a custom order due to its unique design. I need just a little more information to get this started for you. First, can you show us a picture of the stamp code on the balance's metal channel? Second, can you tell us how many balances you need? From there we'll get this started for you. Many thanks.
