Channel balance replacement part

I need a second channel balance for my window. One of them was missing in a window when I bought a house. Has "29-3 CA2 CMC 4" stamped on the side and the length metal to metal is 30 inches. Am needing to know the part so I can order another one. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-30 or S385-30, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

It seems I need the S380-30. There is no stamp to tell me the option and the sash weighs less than 7lbs in and of itself. Do I select the lowest weight option in that case?

I would triple check that to be sure. A 30" long balance is pretty large, so it would be very strange for such a large balance to support such a light sash. I've never seen such a thing.
This is especially strange since you said your old stamp is 29-3, which matches our 2930 option. This is rated to hold 16 through 23 pounds. I highly recommend you reweigh your sash to be 100% sure.
