Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we'll need a bit more information to narrow down your options. If you could show us the connecting point between the spring and pulley inside the metal channel of an intact balance, that would help us confirm if our stock balances could work for your repair or if they would need to be special ordered. We'll also need to confirm how the top and bottom of the balance attach to the window jamb. Also, please confirm if the balances are from a tilt or non-tilt window. Thank you!

This is a maim floor window on a non tilt. I'm afraid that if I take apart the good side the window may not go back together the string attached to the spring with a knot

I completely understand but, unfortunately, we are not able to make out the details of your balance while it is still installed. We'll need to see the spring and pulley connection of an intact balance, as well as the clip that attaches the pulley to the window jamb, fully removed to determine if this is something we can supply. If the cord attaches to the top of the window, we'll also need to determine what the clip at the opposite end of the balance shown in the last two photos of your original post attaches to.

It hooks to the bottom of the sliding window There are no take out hooks at all These are paramount windows from Phoenix AZ

Thank you for confirming. Unfortunately, we do not carry replacement balances that hook directly to the sash like yours. If you haven't already, you may want to try reaching out to the manufacturer directly. I'm sorry we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
