I currently must replace a two coil constant force balance system on multiple windows and it looks as though many parts have been discontinued. In reading through helpful posts I have come to what I believe will work but would love to have confirmation. The photos attached are from one side of the existing system and include:
- Coil Spring Stamped "C" (Believed from research to translate to 5 lbs)
- Coil Spring Stamped "DL" (Believed from research to translate to 6 lbs)
- Two (2) Coil Support Barrels
- Two (2) Coil Bushing Clips
- Coil Balance Shoe That Meets All Features Of Discontinued Shoe 15-175
- 3 1/16in Pivot Bar Meeting Features Of 26-226
- Screw Fasteners
If possible, can you confirm that the combination of parts below will allow for direct replacement per side?
- 5 lb Series 152 Coil Balance S152-5
- 6 lb Series 152 Coil Balance S152-6
- Two (2) Coil Support Barrel 15-145
- Two (2) Coil Bushing 15-143
- Two (2) Coil Bushing Cap 15-144
- Coil Balance Shoe, Slate Blue 15-177
- Pivot Bar, 3-1/16" 26-226
- Existing Screw Fasteners

Thanks for writing in! Yes, you are correct. Each of the part numbers you've chosen would be correct for replacing the coil balance assembly you have pictured here.
The screws typically used with the coil balance assembly are the 33-072 #8 x 3/8" SS Pan Head screw.
Please feel free to reach out with any other hardware repair questions you may have.
