Coil balances & Pivot Shoes

A home owner from Connecticut says:
I'm trying to find the coil balance shown in this picture. I cannot remove the broken coil balance from the window frame because there isn't a cut-out in the frame of the window. Do you carry this coil balance? Do I need to purchase new pivot shoes as well or am I able to connect the new coil balance to the pivot shoe I have? I was told the coil balance needs to be 6 pounds on each side. Also, do you have any recommendations on how I can remove the broken coil balance and install the new one without cut-outs in the frame? Thank you for your time and any help you can provide.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Your pivot shoe looks like a match for our 15-175, which itself is designed to be used with the Series 152 coil spring. As long as your shoe is in good condition you can probably reuse it.

Since your window tracks don't have cutouts, you'll have to make them yourself. The video below will show you how.

Sorry for the delay in my response. Thank you for the information you provided. I will be ordering the parts you suggested. How do I attach the coil balance to the pivot shoe or will it already be attached when I receive it?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

They will not be pre-attached, no. The spring simply screws to the pivot shoe. You can even reuse your old screw.
