Corrosion resistance

Question

Gentlemen,
I purchased several of your 81-005 roller assemblies for my SGDs, replacing the original rollers in my Acorn 400 doors which were installed in 1984. The rollers fit nicely. My concern is how long I can expect them to last in our salty environment. The home is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. I found nothing in your product description as to the materials of construction or corrosion resistance of the rollers. Can you provide this information? Is there a more appropriate product for my application?

Unfortunately, there is no corrosion resistant roller that matches the dimensions of the 81-005. My advice would be to keep it lubricated. Check with a hardware store in your area to see if they have some type of spray that will help keep it from corroding. I'm sorry we cannot offer a better solution.
