Door seal for main door

A quick learner from Knoxville TN says:
I need a seal to accommodate a variable gap of 0.5" to 0.75".

Can you help?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
We can try, certainly, but I'm not sure what you have. Please take a few pictures of the profile, so we can see the shape, and a few more pictures of how it attaches to the door. I will also need detailed dimensions of the seal itself. Thanks!
A quick learner from knoxville says:
I have replaced it from the original. What I have is a kerf type magnetic seal similar to 58-008. Works great at the top but the the gap is variable as stated.

The magnetic field is very weak as well.

When the 58-008 magnetic weather stripping isn't working, people have found our 58-056 to be a great alternative. These days, a lot of repair people swear by foam over magnetic seals. They seal just as well, but have less risk of wearing out and don't have any problems with magnets losing power over the years.
