Drawer will not stop

Handy Person from Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Drawers pull out and will not stop. Plastic part on back of drawer does not look broken. What is the part I need to stop the drawer from pulling out for wood center drawer glide. Thank you

Thanks for writing in. The guide looks similar to our 32-031, and I agree, the one in your photos appears undamaged. It's possible the track itself is just worn down and needs to be replaced. See our 32-053 kit. Watch the video below and see if you think you could adapt this track to your drawers.

Thank you for your response. I would like to avoid replacing the tracks if not necessary. Every drawer in the dresser (except one), night stands and armoire pulls out without stopping so we are talking about replacing 18 tracks. It seems that the missing part is what stops the drawer from pulling out completely. Is there a part available for center mount wood tracks that will stop the drawer from pulling out. Can you tell me what was the original part that stopped the drawer from pulling out and if it is available. The alternative I've seen is to install a plastic clip that pops up to stop the drawer and is pushed down to pull the drawer out. Only one dresser drawer still has a stop and I can't seem to pull it out to remove the drawer.

I'm afraid I don't know what kind of dresser this is, so I honestly don't have any idea what hardware was used originally. I can tell you that the only drawer stop we sell that works like you describe is our 32-125. Ultimately, you may want to try to get in touch with the original maker of the dresser to see if they can supply you with the exact hardware you need. Otherwise, I don't think you'll be able to proceed without adapting new replacement hardware to work, which will take a moderate amount of handiwork.
