Thanks for writing in. Yes, this is sufficient information. I just shot you an email with a custom link to order a pair of these balances stamped 25DS38. If you have any questions, just let me know prior to placing your order. Many thanks.

Sorry Bob but didn't receive your custom link to order my balances. Checked junk mail but nothing. Please send again.

Thanks, Jack

Hi Jack. I've sent the email again to the address you used to make this discussion. Let me know if you receive it this time, or have any other questions.

Thanks Bob, got the link, just wanted to make sure I get the extended travel balance since there is no refund available. The #'s don't mean anything to me so I rely on your expertise. Will order upon your reply. Thanks for your help and patience.

Hi Jack. Sorry, let me clarify. Yes, you absolutely do have an Extended-Travel balance. The tells are the fact the metal channel has a length of 25-5/8", and the fact the cord and pulley system is embedded in the bottom nylon shoe, rather than in the guts of the metal channel as with our standard non-tilt window channel balances. These are not incompatible; trying to install one in place of the other will likely cause the cord to snap, which could be dangerous to yourself!

The other distinguishing feature of your balance is that stamp code of 25DS38; that just means the balance is especially strong so that it can handle the weight range it needs capacity for. In any event, my product director personally looked at your photos and helped me write up the quote. We see these Extended-Travel balances all the time, so we're 100% sure these are what you need. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, and thanks for reaching out.
