21" sash; window was installed in 2019, not sure of manufacturer; 1 broken but I was told to replace both (so 2 needed); I have more pics if needed

We should be able to help with this balance, but I'm having a hard time reading that stamp. Can you tell me what it says? This will allow us to accurately calibrate the spring. Thanks!

The stamp is: 20(6)-15 AN5 CMC 8(9). I too find it hard to read. The characters in parenthesis () are possible alternatives and not in the stamp. I hope this helps.

Thank you! Looking closer at your photo, it looks like it might read 20-15. I actually don't see a 6, but it is very faded. You might want to check the other balance on the other side of the window just in case that is more clear. Otherwise, we will proceed assuming the stamp is 20-15, which is an actual stamp and something we can make. 20 6-15 is not. Just note that these are non-refundable so you really want to make sure.

With that in mind, I still need some other details to get the ball rolling, specifically the depth of the bottom shoe. If there is a 3-digit number at the end of the bottom shoe then we can work with that, too, but it's not always there, so we should really get the depth just to be 100% sure.

Hello, I have double checked and you are right, it is 20-15. Also, on closer inspection, I do see 280 stamped on the gray end. Is that what you are referring to? Thank you
