Fenestra Window Help

A home owner from Wyandotte, Michigan says:
We recently bought this 1941 home in metro Detroit. Our window cranks say Fenestra Detroit. Here are a couple images of the type of window and cranks we have in this home. We are going to restore these windows which we think are made of iron. Do you have any information on restoring this type of window? Glad to know we can get new cranks.
Thank you for any info.

Greetings-

Take a look at the Fenestra operator, 39-344. This looks pretty similar but look over the dimensions to confirm. As far as the lock, I'm afraid your model is discontinued and no longer available.

A home owner from Wyandotte, Michigan says:
Thank you. Do you know or know of anyone who has experience in restoring this type of windows?

I'm not familiar with your area, so I can't say. I recommend contacting a local mom and pop store--somewhere with history, like a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Those kinds of shops tend to know other stores nearby, and hopefully they can at least point you in the right direction.

Thank you so much for the info.!
