Guardian Replacement Glazing

A home owner from Katy, TX says:

My house is 15 years old and all the snap in plastic glazing is cracking and breaking from the years of heat and weather. The windows are Guardian manufactured in Corsicana, TX. It looks like the code on the window is:

SGCC-1248 I/8U 3MM

BS 6206: 1981

16 CFR 1201 11

CAN 2-12.1-M79

A-006-03

Can you recommend the proper replacement glazing? I can't find an exact match on your websight.

I'm afraid that information does not tell me what your glazing bead is. We would need you to remove an undamaged sample and show us a clear picture of the end profile. I know that it's brittle and will be hard to cut a sample without breaking it, but there is no other way for us to confirm a match.

In the meantime, you can see our entire selection here. This will at least give you a good idea of what kind of photos we need.

That's actually perfect. See our 55-080, this looks like it has a very similar shape. I would just go over our dimensions to confirm that they match up.
