Heavy Duty Vent operator 39-414

I purchased 39-414 vent operator for your bay window. My window is very heavy and the original operator was more substantial. This operator has stripped within a year. The original lasted 30 years. Is there a more heavy duty version I can purchase.

I'm afraid there isn't a heavier duty version of this operator. The manufacturer really only makes this one way. That said, it's possible that the 39-414 was not the proper replacement to begin with. Could you show me a picture of your original operator? That would help us find something that may work a little better.
