Help Installing Window Screen

Quick Learner from New Smyrna Beach, FL
How do youninstall the window screen with this type of corner latch? I just bought a remodeled home, and the window installer did not install the screens and they don't seem to fit without bending the whole frame of the screen!
From the inside or outside would at least be a good hint... Not happy with the design.

Window screens are normally installed in a channel on the exterior of the window. What you have here might be the type that goes in from the side of the window or lifted up from the bottom, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

From what I can see, it's possible that your screens are installed on the inside of the window frame. There might be a pocket at the window sill to accept the bottom of the screen frame. See if you can tilt the lower sash of the window and drop the screen down from the top into the sill of the window. Just make sure to take your time so as to not damage the window or the screen. You could also try removing the sash entirely so you can have a clean opening.
