Help identifying shoe

Question

I have this blue shoe. Your customer care recommended 15-086 and 15-087, but those have a black cam, and it looks a little different in size. Will this part still work? I already bought the recommended parts and I want to be sure they will fit before I call out a handyman.

I wouldn't worry about the color of the cam. The black cam in our 15-087 is the same as the blue. Once upon a time, cam colors were used to designate spring strength, but that is no longer done. Spring strength is now denoted with stamps printed on the springs themselves. If you need new springs, I recommend our Series 180 coil balance. Your old springs should still have numbers or markings printed on them to determine the best Series 180 option.
