How do you recommend 58-055 to be installed?

A home owner from Santa Barbara, CA says:
I have a home that was built in the 1920's, rather than replacing the entire window I just replaced the sashes on my casement windows. Now I need to weatherstrip. How would you recommend 58-055 be installed. Would you glue it on, nail it on, etc?

The 58-055 is not meant for new application, it is made for replacement of a similar weather seal. The 58-055 is made to be installed into a slit or a cut groove on the edge of the window sash.

Take a look at the 58-026 stick on weather stripping, it might work in your application.

does 58-026 come in any color other than white? i need gray or brown.
