How is this door track installed?

Can the 80-110A track be cut to fit (like with hacksaw)? Space for a track is 73" Also how does it get attached to door frame (screws, glue, etc)? Are there any other parts that should be purchased to go with track? Am trying to retrofit a patio door that has bottom rail on threshold sill but no upper track. Do not know the brand of door (no identifiable name on door).

Yes, this aluminum upper track for sliding patio screen doors can be cut with a hacksaw.
As for installation, some contractors have used flat head screws, double stick tape, or an adhesive caulk such as Liquid Nails. |
