How to Remove Screen Clips

A quick learner from USA says:
I've got several broken screen clips (1/16" offset) that go on BFRich crank out windows. I can't figure out what kind of tool it takes to remove them so they can be replaced.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hello and thanks for contacting SWISCO. This all depends on how the screen clips were installed. For instance, if they were pop riveted in, you will have to drill them out. If you are uncertain, send us a picture and we'll be able to better advise you on what to do.

A quick learner from USA says:
Ok. I'll try to send a pic. Thx.
A home owner from USA says:
Okay, here's a pic of a good one and a broke one. They might be be riveted, although if they are I have no idea of how to get them out (or put new ones in: I guess you need a special, very specific tool). Tell me what you think. Thanks.

Paul from SWISCO responded:

As Bob suggested, they are pop rivet to the window frame. You will need to carefully drill them out with a 1/8" drill bit, and maybe use a screw to install the new clips.

Thank you!
