I am looking for some replacement sliding door hardware

A handy person from Aspen, CO says:

I have an older Anderson slider and the locking mechanism is not working properly. I have attached pictures. The metal piece holding the interior latch on won't stay in. I need to replace the handle and the metal piece that turns the lock inside the door.

We did carry this handle set at one time, but it was discontinued and is no longer made. The only confirmed solution we have is to use the 82-035, but this will require drilling new holes for it to mount on the door.

I'm sorry that we don't have an easier suggestion.

Ok can I use the same internal hardware and just have to drill two new holes for the handle and lock

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Based on past customers who had this same handle set, yes, you should be able to just replace the handle set; but to be absolutely certain, show us a picture of your mortise lock just to confirm its the type that works with the 82-035
