Identification by the sliding door manufacturer?

Is there a way to determine the replacement roller type prior to removing the roller? Like by the sliding door manufacturer?

There is not, unfortunately. I wish there was! It would definitely make my job a lot easier.

The only way to identify a roller for a patio glass door is to see the complete assembly removed. There is no way around it.
