Is the 82-310 Key Lock a Weiser/Kwickset keyway/pin

A home owner from Toronto says:
Hi,

I was hoping that this was for a Kwickset/Weiser key. If not, are there any cylinders for sliding glass doors you sell that are?

Thanks!

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

We are told by the manufacturer that the Kwickset/Weiser key will fit, but between you and me I haven't had any luck. The 82-310 seems to be a kind of weird in between version. For this reason, we sell a key blank 82-322 if you need to make more keys.

A home owner from Hamilton says:
Thanks Dave. Makes sense. Do you know if cylinders for actually kwickset/weiser keys can be found? I want to key the back sliding door to the same key as the rest of the locks on the house.

Thanks again!

I'm sure you can find some around, but that's not something we can help you find. I would definitely check with a locksmith for that.
