Just not sure

Question

I have a Pella storm door with a broken spring for the handle. The 40-194 is the right size but the key lock area of this part is a little different than the one I have. I've attached a couple of pics. Hopefully you can help. Thanks in advance.

Your mortise looks like a better match for our 40-198 at first glance. This has the same slotted bottom hole as yours. The only thing I'm not confident about is size, so look over our dimensions and see what you think.
