Kenco Window Balance Problems

Question

We are constantly rehabbing properties and windows are an issue many times.  In this case some of the Kenco windows need repair on the balances.  The bottom clip pieces are broken and need replaced.  Possibly the entire balance and end pieces need replaced, but it appears only the bottom piece actually needs replaced. I am curious how much the bottom pieces are as opposed to replacing the entire balance on both sides of the problem windows. A few windows on this project need repair. I am having difficulty determining which replacement piece is needed,  I will try to attach a picture of the existing one.  I cannot get a picture loaded at this time.  Do you records show purchases the  property address of properties where windows are shipped.  If I gave you the address of the property, are you able to identify the windows and the parts ?

We sell a ton of balances and balance hardware, including the fittings, which can be purchased separately. I recommend you browse our full section here to get an idea of what kind of prices you can expect.

That said, when the fittings start failing, that usually means that the balances aren't far behind. You should consider replacing the whole balance just to be safe.

In either event, I will require photos of the hardware in question in order to make recommendations. We don't have access to the records you mentioned as we weren't involved with the original purchases.
