Kerf-type sweep for tight clearance between door and threshold

A home owner from Texas says:
Hi. I have a metal clad door with a very tight clearance (a tad more than 1/8") between the door and threshold, even after lowering the threshold as much as possible. The old sweep has two kerfs bottom that look to be 13/16" on center (which is pretty close to your 7/8" Kerfs on products 58-189 and 58-192. Suggestions on products and how to deal with my low gap between the door and threshold? Is one product better for low clearances? Should I trim off some of the vinyl hanging down?

If clearance is a concern, you may want to consider wither our 40-001 or 58-176 that can either be adjusted to mount to the door or have a relatively short sweep. Take a look to see if one of these could make a good replacement for you. Thank you!
