MRDC - Traco Aluminum Tilt-Sash Windows

A contractor from Newark, DE says:
Hi Steve,
I am looking for some replacement parts for some TRACO windows. I know that I need some balances but what I need your help with is identifying the tilt release latch and the part that holds the window in the frame on the side. It looks like over the years, they have just pulled real hard on the sash to tilt them and have broken the plastic piece that holds them in. Thoughts?

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see the internal latch uninstalled to compare to our inventory. As for your balances, see our S600 or S900 spiral balances, depending on the diameter of your metal tube. Thank you!

Hi Casey,
More questions...

All of the windows are missing what seems to be some type of a "Thumb latch" on the top and bottom sash that would assist in disengaging the internal latches without needing to use a small screwdriver. Is that correct and if so do you have those parts?

As for the "balances", I have several different size windows which are going to require different balances, which I have all the sizes and colors identified (i.e. 23" Red S600, 19" Blue S600, 25" Black S600 etc.). Do yo sell balances by the piece or by the case? If by the case, how many to the case?

Take a look and compare the 26-069 tilt latch to yours, which uses the 26-002 release lever. As for the balances, the price that you see on our website is for each individual balance. Thank you!
