I have Malta Double Hung window that the balances need repair. Picture C31C03CF.JPG shows the S-Hook has rusted out. I think Item 19-029 Short S-Clip might work attaching the springs to bottom of the jamb liner.
The top of the balance has a roller system that guides the sash cords. The sash cords are attached to the springs, run through the rollers and attached to the side channel on the sash. Pictures show front and back of the roller system that is operable. The other roller was brittle and fell apart when sash liner was removed. I do not see any similar part. Any suggestion what I can use? Let me know what other information would be helpful.

Unfortunately, we can only supply the Malta pivot shoe, our 15-159. You would need to contact a Malta dealer for new complete jamb liners. They will not sell the springs or cord. If they won't help you, take the jamb liner and sashes to your nearest mill work and they can set you up with new style jamb liners.
