Missing hardware

Home Owner from Tampa Fl
The window I am trying to replace the balance parts on both sides are missing. A couple of the photos I took are of other windows in my apartment but are larger windows but same type of window. The window I need to repair is 36" x 36". The bottom window pane that is removable is 9.2 lbs. the size of the bottom window that moves up and down is about 19 1/8 ". it is a non-tilt window. Single pane.

I'm not sure what size balance I need because I can't measure it.

Thank you for any help you can offer

Thanks for reaching out to us. Since you don't have the original balance, it will be difficult to determine what size you need. We'll have to do some guesswork based on the windows that still have their balances.

With that in mind, please tell me the diameter and length of the tube for the balances that yo do have. Please also tell me the height of the visible glass for the sash that it supports.

Then, go back to the window that's missing its balances and measure the height of the visible glass for that, as well. My plan is to cross-reference the glass size for both windows and use that to deduce the length you need for the missing part.

Lastly, please weigh your sash on a scale and tell me exactly how heavy it is, down to the ounce. This will allow me to calibrate the spring strength.
